I am in this job for the students I get to work with. They rock my world. I am also in this job because I’ve had the good fortune of being mentored by some amazing hearts and minds. The giants I constantly draw inspiration from include Ellen Zegura, Richard Anderson, Susan Dray, Abigail De Kosnik, and my advisor Tapan Parikh. Also on this list, but no longer with us, is Gaetano Borriello, who was everything I’d want to see in a professor. I’m very grateful for the impact each of them has had on my academic journey.
